Volunteer Opportunities
Engage in meaningful activities to help others and yourself.
As a result of a grant from the Retirement Research Foundation in
Chicago, IL, JFVS has created the JFVS -VIP (Volunteers Investing
in People) program.
It is designed to offer seniors, 65 years and older,
ways to remain vibrant and vital participants in our society. Seniors
are encouraged to enroll in this program, which matches them with
a perfect volunteer opportunity which best meets their individual
needs. The professional staff at JFVS, in conjunction with JFVS
Klein Older Services, will conduct an in-depth assessment, in order
to place the senior in a meaningful and beneficial volunteer position.
To sign up for a volunteer activity, contact JFVS-VIP Coordinator Shelley Kahn at (502)
