  • October 29 - The Boomer Expo featuring Civic Ventures Founder and CEO Marc Freedman – The Galt House

November 2008

  • November 13 - With JCC bring Marcie Farris, author of Matzoh Ball Gumbo, during Festival of the Book – Possibly November 13
  • November 13 - Reception hosted by Max & Ellen Shapira following author event

December 2008

  • Early December - Final campaign announcement and celebration event
  • Planting 100 trees
